THE SACRED STORY OF MAA ARASURI AMBA
According to the sacred Puranas, when Lord Shiva performed the celestial Tandava bearing the body of Devi Sati, Lord Vishnu released His Sudarshana Chakra to sever the divine form into 51 sacred parts.
The Heart (Hridaya) of Mother Sati descended upon the sacred Gabbar Hills along the Arasur mountain ranges in Gujarat, manifesting as the revered Shri Ambaji Shakti Peedam.
Presided over by Goddess Arasuri Amba and protected by Lord Bhairava Batuk, this holy kshethra is celebrated for granting divine love, emotional healing, fearlessness, and supreme grace through the worship of the formless Visayantra.

THE DIVINE CHRONICLE
1. THE SACRIFICE
Goddess Sati sacrificed her life in the yajna of Daksha, protesting the dishonor shown to Lord Shiva.
2. SHIVA'S GRIEF
Lord Shiva wandered the universe carrying Sati's physical form, dancing in destructive grief.
3. THE HEART DESCENT
Lord Vishnu severed Sati's form, and the sacred heart descended upon the Gabbar hills of Ambaji.
4. FORMLESS SANCTUM
The temple stands as a formless shrine, consecrating the sacred Visayantra of Maa Arasuri Amba.
