SHAKTI PEEDAMS
Divine Abodes of Goddess Shakti
The 51 Shakti Peedams are the most sacred Shakti temples where parts of Goddess Sati fell on Earth. Each Peedam radiates divine energy and blesses devotees with strength, prosperity and moksha.

The Sacred Energy
of the Divine Mother
When Goddess Sati self-immolated in the sacrificial fire, Lord Shiva, in deep grief, carried her body across the universe. To restore balance, Lord Vishnu used his Sudarshana Chakra to cut the body into 51 parts, which fell at different places on Earth.
These became the 51 Shakti Peedams, powerful centers of divine feminine energy and blessings.
